Impact of droplet size on the spray process

Droplet size is often critical for an optimised spray process. Many processes, such as gas cooling and gas scrubbing, rely on the maximum total liquid surface area being exposed in the gas stream. The liquid then needs to be distributed in as small droplets as possible to create an optimised result.
