EXAIR control, measurement and optimisation of compressed air

EXAIR offers advanced solutions for the control, measurement and optimisation of compressed air systems. Identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in a company's various compressed air systems leads to reduced energy consumption, improved efficiency and lower operating costs.

How do I ensure that our compressed air systems work optimally?

By following these steps, you can effectively identify problems and implement solutions to optimise compressed air consumption in your systems.

Step 1: Mapping and measurement

Installing Digital FlowmetersEXAIR Digital Flowmeters : Start by installing EXAIR Digital Flowmeters on each major branch of your compressed air system. The devices measure and display the exact amount of compressed air consumed, making it easy to identify leaks and inefficient compressed air products.

Monitor compressed air consumption: Use Digital Flowmeters to continuously monitor compressed air consumption. This helps you understand where and when air consumption is at its highest.

Step 2: Identification of problems

Analysing dataReview data from Digital Flowmeters to identify areas of high air consumption or unexpected variations. Look for patterns that may indicate leaks or inefficient processes.

Carry out inspections: Conduct physical inspections of the compressed air system to locate leaks, damaged components or inefficient compressed air products.

Step 3: Implementation of solutions

Repairing leaks: Fix identified leaks by repairing or replacing damaged components. This may include pipes, valves and connections.

Optimise your compressed air products: Replace inefficient compressed air products with more efficient alternatives from EXAIR, such as Super Air Knives or Air Amplifiers, which use less compressed air to achieve the same or better results.

Install EFC (Electronic Flow Control): Use the EFC to automatically switch off the compressed air when it is not needed. The EFC can be customised to suit different applications and includes a timer and a photoelectric sensor for precise control.

Step 4: Continuous monitoring and adjustment

Continue with monitoring: Continue to use Digital Flowmeters to monitor compressed air consumption and ensure that optimisation measures are working as expected.

Adjust if necessary: If you notice that the air consumption increases again, perform further inspections and adjustments to ensure that the system remains optimal.

A short web meeting is usually a time-efficiently way to gather the information we need to advise on the right solution. We can then quickly and easily obtain information on the various factors that may influence the choice of equipment and solution to achieve the most effective result. Sometimes a site visit may also be appropriate, depending on your preference. Of course, it is equally possible to call or email!

When suggesting a suitable product or solution, we look at function, longevity, quality, choice of materials, and operating and maintenance costs. Our goal is to deliver a sustainable solution that creates added value for you as a customer.

Benefits of optimising your compressed air systems

EXAIR offers smart solutions to easily measure, control and optimise the use of compressed air in your business in a cost-effective way. This in turn leads to improved productivity and increased sustainability.

Cost savings: By reducing unnecessary consumption of compressed air, companies can significantly reduce their energy costs.

Improved efficiency: By monitoring and adjusting compressed air usage, companies can ensure that their systems are operating optimally, leading to improved productivity and reduced downtime.

Environmentally friendly: Reduced energy consumption also means a reduction in carbon emissions, contributing to more sustainable operations.

Easy installation and use: EXAIR products are designed to be easy to install and use, minimising the need for extensive training or special tools.

Increased security: By identifying and eliminating leaks and inefficient compressed air products, companies can improve workplace safety by reducing the risk of accidents and injuries.
