Hiflow® Ring - Random packings

Hiflow® Ring is a high performance random packing with high mechanical stability and very high void fraction.

The strong lattice construction provides high mechanical stability together with a very high void fraction. The low weight and the mechanical stability enable the use of high packed beds without intermediate support grids. High gas and liquid flow rate capacity, extremely low pressure drop, very low wall flow and low sensitivity to pollution and fouling characterize the Hiflow® Ring.

By replacing conventional tower packings with Hiflow® rings, the flow rates in the existent columns can be considerably increased, or if maintaining the same flow rate the energy consumption can be significantly reduced.

Checklist important parameters

Listed below are a number of parameters that are important to consider when selecting the right type and size of random packing in order to achieve an effective and sustainable solution.

Sometimes it is difficult or even impossible to obtain information and data regarding the specific process. Together with our suppliers, we have extensive experience and we can make sound assumptions as a basis for designing the best solution for the process.
